Frequently Asked Questions

Summer Learning Programs

Belleville Tutoring Centre | July 3 - September 1, 2023

When do sessions take place?

Our summer learning programs run from July 3 - September 1, Monday through Thursday.

Where is the centre located?

100 Pinnacle Street South, Belleville (Meyers Pier Plaza, south of Dundas Street East). We also offer online classes.

How many students are in each class?

Groups are capped at 4 students to ensure individual attention. We differentiate the content of each session based on the group make-up, so every student, regardless of their knowledge, skill and confidence, is engaged at the appropriate level and pace.Because the content of each class depends on the group make-up, this also means that students who enjoy one session of a program can take it again.

How long are programs?

All programs are 8 classes (twice a week for 4 weeks or 4 times a week for 2 weeks) except for Sound Sleuths, Word Detectives, Learn French, which are 16 classes (twice a week for 8 weeks or 4 times a week for 4 weeks) and Junior Coders, which is 4 classes (4 times a week for 1 week).

How long is each class?

Classes run for 1 hour per day.

How do I pay?

You will receive a separate email from our billing system before programming starts with a link to make payment by credit card. E-transfers are also accepted. Payment for all sessions is due in advance.

How much are programs?

The fee for each program is based on $35 per day. 8 class programs are $280. 16 class programs are $565. Junior Coders, which is 4 classes, is $140.

Is there an early bird discount?

Yes! Families that complete their registration before May 31, 2023 will receive a 10% early-bird discount on summer program fees.

What if my child has to miss a class?
